Info: Permanent public art installation on the top 9 floors of the 1,070 foot Salesforce Tower in San Francisco. The exterior of the top six floors are softly lit with 11,000 LEDs. The content for the light installation will be ever changing. Multiple cameras placed around San Francisco will capture a different element of the city. Images from these cameras will be recorded each day and processed and played back that evening. Prerecorded imagery will also be integrated in the nighttime sequencing as well. The work will be viewable at night from 20 miles away, reaching the entire surrounding community.
